On 17th June 2016, our Year 6 pupils will visit The University of Nottingham for a fun day of university discovery!


Aims of the day


  • To support the History and English curriculum through providing hands-on, fun activities
  • To raise the aspirations of primary school pupils to Higher Education
  • To help pupils understand that learning is a lifelong journey




  • How to be an archaeologist - museum workshop


Your pupils will visit our archaeology museum to find out what archaeologists do and practice their investigative skills. They will dig for artefacts and test their historical knowledge by trying to identify their findings, as well as viewing some of the artefacts in the museum’s collections.
