  Dear Parents/ Carers,

   

  Re: Sports Day - Tuesday 3rd July 2018

   

  I would like to inform you that our Sports Day this year will be held on Tuesday 3rd July 2018 at 2:00 p.m.

   

  Please can you ensure your child brings their P.E. kit into school so they are able to take part. Children may wear a t-shirt in their house colour. If you are unsure what colour house your child is in, please ask their class teacher. Activities will take place on the school field between 2:00 p.m. and 3:15 p.m. - all parent/carer supporters welcome!

   

  We ask that parents vacate the school premises at 3:15 p.m. and collect their children from the usual place at 3:30 p.m.

• Non-Uniform Day

  Dear Parents/Carers,

   

  RE: Non Uniform Day on Friday 29^th June 2018

   

  We are starting to organise the Broomhill Summer Fayre and as part of this we are having a non-uniform day on Friday 29^th June 2018.

  Instead of a cash donation we would like to ask you to donate a new, sealed bottle item (e.g. bubble bath, sauces or drinks), a soft toy or game/puzzle. These items will be used on our stall at the Summer Fayre.

  All money raised will go towards our school fund which helps fund contributions towards school trips, resources and productions.

• New Starter Parents Evening

  Dear Parents,

   

  WELCOME TO BROOMHILL JUNIOR SCHOOL – Monday, 25^th June 2018

   

  I would like to invite you to visit your child’s new school, Broomhill Junior, on Monday, 25th June 2018.  There will be two meetings; one at 3.45 p.m. until 4:15 p.m. and one at 4:45 p.m. until 5:15 p.m.

   

  During the meeting you will be able to meet myself and the Broomhill Team and have a guided tour of the building.  It will also give you a chance to find out how the school operates and ask questions you may have about the school.  You are more than welcome to bring your child with you if you wish to.

   

  SCHOOL UNIFORM/BOOK BAGS

   

  We have a preferred school uniform with a logo designed by one of our children.   When you come along to the meeting you will have the opportunity to look at the items, which are available from Hucknall Sports. Additional information is attached.

   

  We are also able to offer book bags, at a cost of £4.50 each.  These will be available for purchase on Monday, 25^th June during your visit.

• World Cup Theme Day

  Dear Parents/ Carers,

   

  World Cup Theme Day at Broomhill is on Wednesday, 13th June 2018. All children are welcome to come to school wearing football shirts, sporty tops or their favourite teams' colours for a small contribution of 50p.

   

  We will be doing World Cup themed activities throughout the day and we will have a dance teacher in school on Tuesday 12th June 2018 and Wednesday 13th June 2018.

   

  All money raised on the day will go towards our school fund which supports a variety of activities including some school trips, resources in school and theatre productions.
