Royal Wedding Celebration
Fri 18 May 2018Dear parents/carers,
Re: Royal Wedding Celebration – Friday 18th May 2018
On Friday, 18th May 2018, Broomhill will be celebrating the Royal Wedding!
Children may come to school wearing the colours red, white and blue for a £1 fine.
During the day the children will partake in different royal themed activities and have a whole school picnic in the afternoon. Your child will bring home a letter from their class teacher with more information on what they need to bring in for their groups picnic.
Unfortunately, due to capacity, on this occasion we are unable to invite parents into school to join us. We are very sorry to disappoint any parents who would have liked to join in our celebrations.
Yours sincerely,
Mr Andrew Beckinsale-Yates

Broomhill Book Day
Thu 29 Mar 2018Dear Parents/Carers,
RE: Broomhill Book Day
Due to the cancellation of the previous World Book Day On Thursday, 1st March 2018, we will now be hosting our very own Broomhill Book Day on Thursday, 29th March 2018. Like before, we will be celebrating this in school. Your child will be taking part in special events in their own classes during Thursday afternoon.
Dressing up: Our dressing up theme is “Take a Good Book to Bed”. This means your child may bring their pyjamas/onesie or book character costume into school to wear during the afternoon. They will also need to bring in their ‘Favourite Bedtime Read’ in order to share a story with their partner.
The afternoon will end with a whole school event, where all children will have the opportunity to listen to an adult read a story.
Yours sincerely,
Alison Burdass
English Coordinator
