World Book Day
Dear Parents/Carers,
RE: World Book Day
On Thursday, 1st March 2018 it is World Book Day and we will be celebrating this in school. Your child will be taking part in special events in their own classes during Thursday afternoon.
Dressing up: Our dressing up theme is “Take a Good Book to Bed”. This means your child may bring their pyjamas/onesie or book character costume into school to wear during the afternoon. They will also need to bring in their ‘Favourite Bedtime Read’ in order to share a story with their partner.
The afternoon will end with a whole school event, where all children will have the opportunity to listen to an adult read a story.
Your child will bring home a £1 Book Token, which they may exchange in supporting shops and supermarkets for a World Book Day Book, or receive £1 off any other book.
